OCTOBER 30, 2009.
Hey everyone. I changed a little bit of the main page around, mainly because I wanted the newest episode to be accessible right on the site. I also added more links on the side. It’s all just cartoons, comics and shows that I like, and a few of them I am friends with. There’s also an “extras” section that isn’t available yet, but it’ll have little things like wallpapers and stuff there, and I’m working on a new setup for fanart which will probably go in there as well.
Also I’m working frantically on a Halloween cartoon (not the one I originally intended, unfortunately) that I hope I can get out early tomorrow. I may have to work through the night tonight. I’m going down to Maryland for most of the weekend, so if I don’t finish it before I leave, then it’ll be late. And it kind of loses its magic then. If that is the case and I have a decent amount done, I’ll still continue it and post it whenever it’s done. It’d be too short (and really stupid) to turn into another Unfinished Episode Theater, heheh.

There’s a brand new Geoweasel cartoon up. I’m as surprised as you are. It snuck up on me! But remember the whole Balloon Boy fiasco from late last week? Well that’s what this one’s about! Go check it out and help spread it around!

You guys may or may not have noticed that two new episodes have been put up since last Thursday. Probably not, because the views on them are…minimal. And uh…well, neither of them are actually new, I confess. They’re both unfinished episodes, one from 2005, the other from 2006. Both were temporarily on the site ages ago, so hardcore viewers may have already seen these, and I apologized to those dedicated fans. But many people have not seen these, and I didn’t want the work to go to waste, so in a new feature called “Unfinished Episode Theater,” we take a look at Nar Vs. The Janitizer, which was supposed to be the second episode, and Monster Rock, a Halloween cartoon from 2006. Check those out on Youtube, guys. I really need you to. Just post it around your blogs and stuff or try to get friends interested in the series. Internet video depends mostly on you guys for promotion, so seriously, anything you can do to spread these around really does help me out, and not only that, but when I see a lot of people viewing my videos, it makes me happy and motivated to do more episodes. So please, whatever you want to do, post ‘em on your Facebook, your Twitter, have it on your own Youtube page, whatever. Little things like that add up. But right now, a very small people are watching these episodes, but if you have, I thank you and I hope you enjoyed them!

SEPTEMBER 23, 2009.
I’ll be at the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, Maryland this weekend. I’m not exhibiting, but if you’re there and you run into me, say hi! I’ll have some Geoweasel freebies like postcards and stickers. I may also bring the last three copies of the 2007 “Fine Thing Collection” DVD.
Also, here’s a few different sizes of a new wallpaper based on the postcard if you want to use them.

AUGUST 29, 2009.
Hey guys, I set up a Geoweasel page on Facebook. Go check it out and become a fan!
Also, there may be an update sometime this weekend. But even if there is, don’t get too excited because it’s more for the sake of having new content than anything. I’m trying to buy myself some time to make episodes while also putting up something new. I need to build myself a buffer zone like I had…once, where I have episodes ready in advance, and then continue to work on new ones before those are even out.
Then I could do a “next time on Geoweasel” segment and it wouldn’t have fake footage!
AUGUST 17, 2009.
In case anyone didn’t know, I got a pretty nasty computer virus and had to take my laptop in to be fixed. I got some stuff back but a lot of editable versions of Geoweasel episodes are gone forever now, along with a lot else. If you want to read more, be my guest, but that’s the gist of the story. There’s nothing I can do to get any of it back, so I’m just going to forget it and move forward. Just thought I’d let you guys know.
AUGUST 6, 2009.
If you’re itching for more Geoweasel, for whatever reason, you can get about an 8-second fix in this week’s Reel Good Show.
AUGUST 2, 2009.
I’ve been on vacation from July 26 until today, but yesterday I took part in the latest 24 Hour Toons challenge. Go check it out! Also, if you haven’t already seen, I’ve been working on an experimental autobiographical webcomic called Chicks Dig Cartoonists. It doesn’t have a regular update schedule, but it’ll probably update a couple times a week if you’re looking for stuff in between my cartoons. Anyway, I have kind of a busy week this week because I have a piece that is going to be in this Friday’s Autumn Society gallery. It opens on Friday at 6 PM at Brave New Worlds Comics in Philadelphia. I’ll be there, so if you can, stop by and say hi! (And maybe you can buy my piece!) After all that though, hopefully I’ll be back to working on Geoweasel. My goal is to get at least two episodes out this month.
JULY 28, 2009.
Did anyone see the latest episode of Channel Frederator? I hear they have some awesome special guest at the end!
JULY 25, 2009
To anyone who’s actually reading this, I apologize for the lack of updates. But I think I should let you know that I go on vacation tomorrow, so it’ll still be a while before the next Geoweasel cartoon. However, I have been working on an autobiographical webcomic that I’ll be updating…almost daily, so if you want to check that out, visit http://chicksdigcartoonists.tumblr.com.
